Elastomeric Sheet Gasketing
Atlantech carries a complete line of Elastomeric Sheet Gasketing made from a wide range of natural and synthetic rubbers including Neoprene, Nitrile, EPDM, and more.
These materials are incompressible, meaning they can be deformed, depending on durometer and cross section, but can never be reduced in volume. They are also extensible in that they can be assembled over a projection or shoulder and snap tightly within a groove.
Elastomeric Sheet Gasketing is highly impermeable, as it can serve as a tight barrier against the passage of gases or liquids. It is also elastic, requiring little flange pressure to affect intimate contact with the corresponding gasket, allowing it to move with the flange surfaces, always maintaining a seal.
