Transite® Board Insulation by BNZ

Atlantech is a proud distributor of Transite® Board Insulation by BNZ. This non-asbestos, monolithic fiber cement industrial board from BNZ is used in environments up to 600°F where high strength is the primary concern. These fiber cement boards are used in the foundry industry for flask liners, core, drying and carry plates, and induction furnace casings. Electrical applications include busbar supports, aluminum pot insulation and electrode arm insulators. Transite HT is also used as load bearing gasketing, spacers, supports and machined parts for OEM appli cations.

Transite HT is engineered to handle higher temperatures, loads and electrical conditions with less shrinkage and degradation compared to previous non-asbestos formulas. Although Transite HT is rated at 450°F maximum continuous operating temperatures, it will accommodate 600°F after an initial heat conditioning.
