Trymer Green Phenolic Insulation
TRYMER® Green Phenolic Insulation offers the lowest thermal conductivity of any standard material and combines this with excellent flammability performance, closed-cell, and good water and water vapor resistance. These properties make TRYMER Green Phenolic Insulation the ideal material for use as pipe insulation on chilled water lines operating in the air plenums of commercial buildings where flammability is the greatest concern but energy efficiency is still important and governed by codes.
At any thickness that might be needed, the flammability performance of TRYMER Green Phenolic Insulation meets the strict ASTM E84 25/50 flame spread/smoke developed requirement common in many building codes for pipe insulation located inside of plenums. Its unparalleled thermal conductivity allows TRYMER Green Phenolic Insulation to be used at lower thicknesses than other insulation materials while still meeting and usually exceeding the energy efficiency requirements.
