Vaporwick® Pipe Covering by Owens Corning

Vaporwick® Pipe Covering by Owens Corning

Vaporwick® is an innovative new insulation product designed specifically for below-ambient temperature applications in severe hot/humid operating environments. Keeps insulation dry by using a specially designed wicking material that absorbs condensed water from the pipe surface and wicks it to the outside.

Vaporwick® can be installed directly over Wet Piping so systems don’t need to be shut down during the product’s installation. Has a self-sealing Lap Seal with no need for staples or mastic. Meets requirements for Mold and Fungi Resistance by providing no sustenance for mold to propagate.

Fiberglas® Pipe Insulation by Owens Corning

Fiberglas® Pipe Insulation by Owens Corning

Owens Corning Fiberglas® pipe insulations are molded of heavy density resin bonded inorganic glass fibers. These one-piece, 36" (914mm) long, hinged sections are opened, placed over the pipe, closed using a self sealing lap.

Fiberglas SSL II® Pipe Insulation is jacketed with a smooth, reinforced, wrinkle resistant all-service (ASJ) vapor retarder jacket. Factory applied DOUBLESURE† double pressure sensitive adhesive closure provides positive mechanical and vapor sealing of the longitudinal jacket seam. Pressure sensitive butt strip seals complete the positive closure. Available in the most popular sizes.

In larger sizes Fiberglas Pipe Insulation is furnished with SSL® I, a single adhesive lap seal. Fiberglas “No-Wrap” Pipe Insulation is also available without a jacket. It is intended for field installation of jacketing appropriate to the vapor control, damage or corrosion resistance requirements of the application.

Pipeshield Fiberglas® Pipe Insulation by Owens Corning

Pipeshield Fiberglas® Pipe Insulation by Owens Corning

High quality Owens Corning pipe insulation with a factory applied white polymer facing ideal for applications requiring a durable and flexible vapor retarder and an attractive finish polymer. Facing is significantly stronger and more puncture resistant than standard ASJ facing.

700 Series Fiberglas® Insulation by Owens Corning

700 Series Fiberglas® Insulation by Owens Corning

700 Series Fiberglas® Insulations from Owens Corning save energy and reduce heat transfer, lowering operating costs. Available in five densities, providing a selection of products to meet specific performance, appearance and economic requirements.

700 Series Fiberglas® Insulations resist damage and maintain structural integrity and efficiency. Thickness stays uniform. Available with factory-applied FRK or ASJ facings. Both facings of 700 Series Fiberglas® Insulations are vapor retarders and provide a neat, finished appearance in mechanical applications.

Insul-Quick Fiberglas® Board by Owens Corning

Insul-Quick Fiberglas® Board by Owens Corning

Fiberglas Insul-Quick Insulation from Owens Corning is designed for use on power and process boilers, breechings, ducts, precipitators, chimney liners and other heated equipment operating at temperatures up to 850°F (454°C). It is used in applications where an outside facing of metal or metal mesh with a finishing cement is required. It can also be used as insulation in a metal panel system.

Fiberglas® TIW Type II by Owens Corning

Fiberglas® TIW Type II by Owens Corning

Fiberglas® TIW Type II Insulation from Owens Corning is especially suitable for use in metal mesh blankets and for use on boilers, vessels and many other types of industrial equipment operating at temperatures up to 1000°F (538°C) at maximum recommended thickness. It may also be used in panel systems for precipitators, ducts and breechings.

Fiberglas® Pipe and Tank Insulation by Owens Corning

Fiberglas® Pipe and Tank Insulation by Owens Corning

Fiberglas® Pipe and Tank Insulation from Owens Corning is made of semi-rigid fibrous glass board material, factory-jacketed with a laminated kraft aluminum foil ASJ facing. The insulation is adhered with the end grain perpendicular to the jacket. This provides a flexible product that is easily wrapped around pipes, tanks or vessels, while providing good rigidity and abuse resistance. Applied to pipes, tanks and vessels 10" NPS (250mm DN) and larger.

Fiberglas® Pipe and Tank Insulation can also be used to insulate pipe flanges, valves, groups of parallel pipes, and pipes with heat tracing lines. It may be applied over existing insulation to increase thickness and satisfy demands for increased energy conservation in already operating systems.

SoftR™ All-Service Fiber Glass Duct Wrap by Owens Corning

SoftR™ All-Service Fiber Glass Duct Wrap by Owens Corning

SoftR™ All-Service Fiber Glass Duct Wrap from Owens Corning is used for external insulation of commercial and residential heating, air conditioning and dual-temperature ducts operating at temperatures from 40°F (4°C) to 250°F (121°C).

SoftR™, when applied in accordance with installation instructions, will provide the “installed R-value” as published for the product and printed on the facing, assuring specified in-place thermal performance and condensation control. SoftR™ has been reformulated to reduce dust and itch.

Fiberglas® TIW Type I by Owens Corning

Fiberglas® TIW Type I by Owens Corning

Fiberglas® TIW Type I Insulation is used in applications up to 1000°F (538°C) at maximum recommended thickness requiring a lightweight insulation, such as that used in panel systems, flexible wrap, industrial ovens or surfaces having irregularities. Being lightweight makes Fiberglas TIW Type I Insulation is easy to handle and install, even when large size panels are used. There is no tendency for pin-hole elongation under vibration situations, a frequent source of heat leaks in heavier products.

Fiberglas® Duct Liner Board by Owens Corning

Fiberglas® Duct Liner Board by Owens Corning

Fiberglas® Duct Liner Board from Owens Corning is a bonded board of glass fibers designed to be installed inside sheet metal ductwork or plenum with metal fasteners and adhesives. The smooth, fire-resistant airstream surfaces resist damage during installation and in service.

Evolution™ Paper-Free ASJ Fiberglas® Pipe Insulation by Owens Corning

Evolution™ Paper-Free ASJ Fiberglas® Pipe Insulation by Owens Corning

Evolution™ Paper-Free ASJ pipe insulation is wrapped with a cleanable, tough, paper-free vapor barrier jacketing. The jacketing has a factory applied double pressure-sensitive adhesive system which provides positive closure and vapor sealing of the longitudinal joint, even at ambient temperatures as low as 25F. Self-sealing butt strips are provided for sealing circumferential joints. This complete sealing system eliminates the need for staples, adhesives, or bands and provides a positive vapor seal for condensation control requirements.

The paper-free property of Evolution™ does not support mold growth and is impervious to moisture, which can help improve indoor air quality. It’s more than 3x tougher* than standard ASJ, so it better resists job site abuse and maintains a superior finished appearance, which reduces callbacks.

The facing is cleanable, accepts mastic, can be painted for color coding and has an appearance that is compatible with standard ASJ. All sizes have the SSL II® Positive Closure System, which eliminates the need to staple and promotes job site productivity.
