High Temperature Cloths & Tapes
These high quality textiles can be used in a variety of high temperature applications such as pipe lagging, expansion joints, heat shields, and machinery protection. We offer fiberglass, aramid, silica, silicone coated, aluminized, and vermiculite cloth products.
Made with a variety of temperature resistant yarns, the tapes we offer are perfect for pipe wrap, hose and cable coverings, exhaust manifold wrap, expansion joints, and heatshields.
Gasketing and Sealing Ropes are used in a wide range of high temperature applications including gasketing and wicking, oven door seals, and as drawstrings for removable insulation jackets. These ropes are made of high quality aramid, fiberglass, or silica fabrics.
Gasketing and Sealing Tapes are made with a variety of temperature resistant yarns, the tapes we offer are perfect for pipe wrap, hose and cable coverings, exhaust manifold wrap, expansion joints, and heaatshields.
Gasketing and Sealing Tadpole Tapes (also called Tadpole Seals) are resilient gasketing tapes formed by wrapping heat-resistant cores with a variety of cover materials. The edges of the covers are stitched or cemented together, forming the characteristic "tail" structure. Atlantech carries a variety of tadpole tapes made from various materials suitable for high temperature applications.
Atlantech’s Welding Blankets provide protection from sparks, spatter and slag generated by welding or metal-cutting applications. Our blankets are made in various sizes from a variety of heat-resistant materials.
Fabricated Insulation Pads & Blankets
Atlantech has years of experience and expertise in fabricating cost saving insulation blankets and pads for equipment, valves, pumps, tanks, piping, and heat exchangers. Every blanket is expertly measured, engineered and custom designed to meet any acoustical and/or thermal insulation need. Removable/reusable insulation jackets allow a cost-effective approach to insulating systems where insulation is desired but occasional maintenance or inspection is required.
Silica Cloth provides continuous protection to 1800°F (1000°C). Its melting point is in excess of 3000°F (1650°C), with a minimum 96% amorphous silica content. Silica Cloth is a safe substitute for ceramic in refractory applications, and an optimal choice for welding protection. Silica Cloth meets military specification MIL-C-24576. Flexible and chemical resistant, it also features low thermal conductivity, low halogens and soluble chlorides.
